Oh God. . . Beautiful Machine

Vince Di Mura is a classically trained, world-renowned pianist and jazz musician who has performed and conducted on concert stages and in theatres throughout North America, Canada, and Latin America. Vince is also the resident musical director and composer of the Lewis Center for the Arts at Princeton University and holds fellowships from the William Goldman Foundation, Temple University, Meet the Composer, CEPAC, the Union County Foundation, the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, and the Mid-Atlantic Arts Foundation.

Vince was asked by to create a jazz symphony by Larry Hilton, a supporter of arts from Trenton, New Jersey. Vince was tasked with working with Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Yusef Komunyakaa to create a symphony that talked about climate change without explicitly saying so. Vince worked for 16 months writing and orchestrating the symphony which premiered at the Trenton War Memorial Theater in Trenton, New Jersey on October 26, 2025. The title of that symphony was called, "Oh God. . . Beautiful Machine"
